Can a private school student in Palm Beach County do dual enrollment at Palm Beach State College?

Yes, but the student's private school must have an articulation agreement with the college, and the student must meet GPA and test requirements. Palm Beach State's page requires a 3.0 unweighted GPA for grades 10-12 and a 3.5 for grades 6-9, with college-ready test scores.

Verify your school's agreement before you apply.

What are Florida Atlantic University's rules for private school dual enrollment?

FAU accepts students in grades 6-12 at an approved private school with a 3.0 unweighted GPA for grades 10-12, or 3.5 for grades 6-9, plus qualifying ACT, SAT, CLT, Accuplacer or PERT scores and a signed school permission form.

FAU publishes a 2026-27 list of districts and private schools with executed agreements.

Can scholarship money pay for dual enrollment?

FES-UA and PEP purchasing guides allow tuition and fees at eligible postsecondary institutions, except programs covered by Florida's dual-enrollment cost statutes. A standard Private School Scholarship student can use leftover funds only for approved expenses.

Check the purchasing guide before you pay.
